Whitecross SIRR

Three Sixty were appointed as Employers Agent and Quantity Surveyor on behalf of Morston Assets Limited in respect of one of Scotland's strategic initiative for residential regeneration (SIRR) developments.

The proposed works comprised the redevelopment of an existing former brickworks (previously one of the bigest brickworks in Europe), remediating the land and preparing parcels of land for sale to housebuilders, together with a new school and associated retail and workplace buildings.

Three Sixty were involved in all aspects of the scheme, proving invaluable in turning a previous demolition contract at a cost to the Client into a credit contract. Three Sixty also activitely managed works relative to a mine adit, a schedule of monument consent and all infrastructure on the site.

Unfortunately, agreement with the Local Authority regarding the S.106 contribution could not be reached and following demolition, mine adit and schedule consent works the scheme was shelved.
